April 5, 201016 yr Could anyone please suggest a fix for the abnormally large landing lights on my AI aircraft... I did read that it could be caused by the halo texture, but I just did a clean install of the OS and didn't take a flight at night until all my tweaking was done (not sure if PNW or REX did something to the effect).BTW, the shots were taken over Frankfurt, and thanks to *******' tweaks I still managed a steady ~30fps! :( Thanks,Dylan

April 7, 201016 yr The "halo" looks fine in all those picture. The halo is really just the coloring and brightness and size of how it lights up the GROUND. It looks pretty good. Some people change their halo.bmp's to adjust the default FSX one which is a nasty yellow triangle that's very dense. But if your issue is the bright "flare" of light coming from the actual contact point of the light itself then changing the scale of the light in the FSX.cfg file will help. Don't know the proper commands off hand but if you search im sure you can stumble across one.
