hi to all,iam a new member,my name is jawad,i installed fsx on xp sp3,specs are core 2 duo 2.40GHz,2gb ram,nd intel dg31pr mb,i installed fsx everything went well,but it doesnt run the splash screen cums, it says bulding data base for scenery loads from 1 to 100% nd den the splash screen dissapears n nuthin happens,i also tried deletin fsx.cfg from application data but still the same,pls help me out guys,u can also email me [email protected]

Hi Jawad, have you had it running, or is this the first time you tried to start the sim? Where did you install it to ? The programme files folder?Cheers, Mark

hey mark,yes i have had it running on the same machine on windows vista n windows 7,iti is the first time i tried to run it on xp pro sp3,n yes i installed it to the program files folder,installed a new o/s(win xp sp3 pro),updated the drivers nd installed the game.Jawad

Hi Jawad, I would not install it to the programme files folder. Have you seen this guide for installation here: http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041You need to follow the guide exactly. If you do this, I can pretty much gaurantee you will have no problems. Make sure you un install using the disk before you start over again. Cheers,Mark
