Quick question about mirage FMC

Featured Replies

If you set a route on the mirage FMC, will it show up on the GPS or MFD of some panels? Ie The EMB 120 panel? Link is http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=124293 and http://www.flightsim.com/file.php?cm=INDEXCALL&sPos=10 - the fs2004 panel on that page. I want to add it to my panel if it does, but if it doesn't i'm just going to add ISG1 onto it that is why I need an answer...Cheers, please do reply if you read it or have past experience with the mirage FMC, need to know urgently sorry.Thx

AFAIK, the Mirage FMC project hasn't been updated for almost three years, but what's there works pretty well in LNAV mode. You also have to stall the dedicated Mirage MFD to get the route to show. The VNAV doesn't work well for me.I have ISG1 also, and use both depending on how complicated I feel like being.;)

Dude, thx for replying!!!Well is this the case for the vasFMC also? If i enter a route into the vasFMC will it show up on the MFD of the brasilia panel or other MFDs ie Ken Mitchell's Airbus panels? Does it act as a GPS also? Please do reply again, cheers. I really want to use the MFD of the brasilia when i fly it instead of other addons which make it less realistic, ISG1 and others will be the last step.Cheers mate.

I replied to your first "Garmin" thread before seeing this one and did not know you had the ISG1 suite. As a general statement if you can export an FS9 plan to a saved file then it can be loaded into avionics that will accept them so they all get the same plan. Some avionics get the plan direct from FS9 as in the default Garmins.I'm a PMDG 737 user and one caution I advise is either to import a plan including terminal procedures or insure the avionics databases are in sync. The advantage of importing a plan into avionics can mean that ATC is in sync with your avionics routing for most of your route. If you want to use vectors for most airports just use the common waypoints in your route that apply to all runways. If your version of ATC allows for arrival request an IAP so you can use your avionics coupled AP until on final and not take vectoring monitored by ATC.

SO I have to save it and import it, but that means I have to make the route on the fs9 flight planner and save? Or I can go to www.simroutes.com and save a route? But if ATC want me to change route then is it possible on the GNS and will it show up on the 3rd party MFD?
