I think the problem was I wasnt removing the VOR Freqs out of the FMC quick enough to let it auto tune, and I dont think I had hit auto flight after the take off set up....I honestly am not sure lol. Also is thier a list of pre input flight plans somewhere? Or Company plans? Also how do you figure flex? I was looking at doing a long flight like KJKF to LSZH or somthing to stretch its legs... Any premade plans like that?

The FMS autotunes regardless of what you put in the nav/rad page (even if you can't see it), it shouldn't effect your pre programmed flight plan in anyway. Also you don't need to press autoflight after the takeoff setup if you don't want you can even press it after you have spooled the engines up on the rwy even of you take off without pressing it (you wont get throttle clamp) you can do if after anyway. Whatever doesn't matter it works ok for you now which is what matters.
Also how do you figure flex?
Check the link in my last post, in there you will find the avsim link (his first link) to some excellent user created flex tables (official ones not available)As for pre made plans I am sure there is somewhere, I'm not the best to ask as I make all my own from scratch (using real airways).

I don't know of any list but there are several flight plans already in the PMDG/Flightplans folder when you install it. If you ever imput a ARR/DEP in the FMC and there is a plan available you will be prompted and asked if you want to insert it.I normally ignore them myself since there may be differences between older ones and what my navdata has and I of course prefer to do them myself.

Thanks a bunch! Is there a third party program that will dump them into the FMC for you? Lol not trying to get out of making my own but I have enough problems as it is lol, cant wait to get half way to where Im going then have the Flight Plan be bad haha. Could one of you suggest a starter route? Also Ive screwed up a couple of my home made plans and tried to start over, only to find the FMC is like locked on PPOS what ever that means cant seem to start over from there.

FSBuild allows you to make flight plans (and calculate fuel use, along with winds aloft if you wish) outside of FS9/FSX and has the option to save in the PMDG folder in the PMDG .rte format. So you make the plan in FSbuild, start a flight, input the plan name in the company route section of init page (FMC) and the plans loaded and ready to go.
