April 15, 201016 yr NEED HELP with charts.I am looking for the EXACT 3 CHARTS (by that I mean same release date and all) that are used in the following PMDG 747 tutorial: I was wondering if someone might have them and could e-mail them to me as I would like to print them out (the ones in the tutorial are kind of unreadable) so I could have a good hard copy.I have tired to find the EXACT 3 charts online, but with no luck. I would be willing to pay for them.ThanksBob [email protected] Bob Galbraith
April 15, 201016 yr The charts that are being featured in this tutorial are from Navigraph's nDAC chart program. Go to www.navigraph.com and click on the Aeronautical Charts - nDAC tab and read their info. The main program is free :( but the charts cost about EUR0.20 each airport :( .Hope that helpsMichaelKSEA Michael Wolfe Intel Core i5 2300 / ASUS P8P67(b3) mobo / 4GB Corsair DDR3 1333Mhz Dual Channel RAM / ASUS GTS450 1GB DDR5 810Mhz(O.C.) / Seagate Baracuda 1.5TB 7200RPM HDD / ASUS DVD+/-RW Burner / CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus cpu cooler / CoolerMaster Extreem Power Plus 700W PSU / Antec 300 case w/ 1x 140mm Antec TriCool and 4x 120mm Antec TriCool fans / Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit) / ASUS VE228 LED 1080p 21.5" Monitor

April 15, 201016 yr If you come to a dead end, you can still learn how to program the FMS for a flight without the video. Lot's of help, including the 747 courses in the pmdg downloads section. Dan Downs KCRP
April 16, 201016 yr Bob,I've got good news, mediocre news and bad news, I'll give you the bad 1st. The charts he's using in the 'Part1' video are from 19 FEB 08 and 23 APR 08. I know Navigraph has updated their chart database since then and so unless someone just happens to have printed out those specific charts and happens to look here, you're gonna have one heck of a time trying to find them. The good news is I just downloaded the lastest set of Navigraph charts for LIMC and the only difference between the current 2 charts (STAR and ILS Y 35L) and the 2 charts he uses in the video is the format. All of the data is identical so you can use the current charts and still be accurate to the tutorial. The mediocre news is that the EHAM SID that he uses has changed since 19 FEB 08, but the only change is the last waypoint LOPIK which has been eliminated from the departure route. My only other question for you is, have you updated the AIRAC for the PMDG 747 FMC? I do not know your Flight Sim experience level so if you don't know what I'm talking about then the answer is pobably no.If the answer is yes then we have a whole other ball of wax to deal with.Again I hope this helps :( MichaelKSEA Michael Wolfe Intel Core i5 2300 / ASUS P8P67(b3) mobo / 4GB Corsair DDR3 1333Mhz Dual Channel RAM / ASUS GTS450 1GB DDR5 810Mhz(O.C.) / Seagate Baracuda 1.5TB 7200RPM HDD / ASUS DVD+/-RW Burner / CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus cpu cooler / CoolerMaster Extreem Power Plus 700W PSU / Antec 300 case w/ 1x 140mm Antec TriCool and 4x 120mm Antec TriCool fans / Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit) / ASUS VE228 LED 1080p 21.5" Monitor
