Not today you ain't ! :( And from the Met & Geo Offices latest forecast it looks like it could last up to the weekend.Isn't Mother Nature a wonderful thing. A click of her fingers, or in this case an escaping bile of hot fluid and gas from the depths of her very core, and she brings the modern world to a standstill.

I'm sure this is a first! :( Funnily enough I have seen six planes depart FRA around 1915Z today in quick succession, just like in usual rush hours. But after those six that was it again haha. Most of them Condor. Now it's all quiet again. So insane! I still can't believe it. :( Oh, and by the way, where'd you get the number from?? Being very curious and interested.

There were reports today that a couple of the airlines (I think it was BA and KLM) did a few test flights today at low altitude to see if they could fly below the cloud. From reports those test were good! Not sure I would want to fly anywhere around that cloud of ash at any altitude though!
