Framerate friendly aircraft

Featured Replies

I've bought a few aircrafts for fs2004, but the problem I always have is they kill my framerate pretty bad. Do you guys have any recommendations for framerate friendly aircraft, which are fun to fly? Preferably freeware? Even just higher resolution VC textures for the original aircraft would be fine with me.Thanks

As far as pay-ware aircraft go for airliners, it would be the overland Boeing and airbus packages they are light in frame rates and have some great free livery's to download here at the avsim library.

Cool, thanks! I'll check it out. :)

Some great freeware airliners I would recommend are the Tinmouse 737, David Maltby aircraft, Rick Piper aircraft (the HS.748 turboprop in particular), and Project Opensky for more modern tastes. None of these have caused me any framerate grief as far as I know. Hope this helped

Nice, thanks! Downloading now. If anyone has anymore suggestions, feel free to chime in. :)
