Active Camera and 1.1

Featured Replies

Hi Bryan, for some reason, on my machine, Active Camera stopped working after SP 1.1 has been applied. It always happens straight before pushback when each and every Active Camera's inside action stops working. Outside view is fine but inside (VC)...nothing! I don't like flying from the 2D ;-(. Its definately FS2CREW because this doesn't happen on a flight without it.Read that some of that happened to the Maddog, either, but there is no "zorder" entry in the panel.cfg so it might be a different problem, here.Might be also me, who did a lot of tweaking myself (eg to include the WXR500) so I might try to re-install everything, but before, I wanted to ask if someone is experiencing the same. All the best!Greets, Benny

Hi Benny,Active Camera... now there's a ghost from the past.I can't explain that issue. Maybe someone else can. However, Active Camera is pretty old. I might suggest looking at the newer 'camera' type apps like Ezdok.Cheers,

Hi Bryan,I know its pretty old... :( , but unfortunatley EzDok is FSX only, I think, and therefore not for me. And Active Camera always did what I wanted it to do.Might give a try to the Flight1s own free view utility to see if that makes a difference...simply bothered me because it worked fine before SP 1.1.EDIT: And I forgot to mention that it conflicts with TrackIR, too! Thats how it all started...I wanted to use TrackIR but it suddenly stopped working before pushback...and so did Active Camera.Greets, Benny

You need to open your panel.cfg and remove all the "zorder=xxx" entries. They are there I promise (in the VC sections).....look harder!

Ok...I sorted it out...I stumbled accross the modules folder and I noticed that I have FSRecorder installed, too. This one has intercepted the FOs try to set the Autobrake to RTO and messed up my views, although I thought it's only active on playback, not ActiveCamera. So, if anyone is having a similar problem, in the future here's the solution :( . And I was going mad as I don't have any zorder entry in my pmdgs panel.cfgs :( .Greets, Benny
