April 26, 201016 yr I'm having problems running Fs9 on my Windows 7 'C' Drive. Can I move Fs9 to another partition, 'D' , which has Windows XP Home Edition installed, on the same Drive?KenWell, I am using XP home edition and not a computer expert myself...I have complex aircraft like PMDG or Level D.More than one year ago, due to lack of space in my C: partition, I moved the complete "FS9 flight simulator" folder from: C/program files/microsoft games/to:D/program files/microsoft games/It was a direct move: cut and paste (I made a backup of the folder to an external hard disk before).I just left "C/Documents and settings/my name/Program data/microsoft/FS9/" in the C: partition (where the fs9.cfg file is located). And afterwards I only had to make minor adjustments in the scenery folder and in other programs like Afcad, Traffic-Tools or Aismooth to re-direct them to the new FS location. And that was all.Perhaps things were a little bit faster when FS was in C, but it runs without any major problem.Hope it helps. signed: José Luis
April 27, 201016 yr Additionally you most certainly will need to correct the FS2004 registry entry so the OS can "find" FS2004 after you have mpved it.This free tool will do it easily:http://www.flight1software.com/files/FS_Registry_Repair.exe
