External FPS limiter issues

Hi all,After a pretty long drawn out RMA process after my GTX 280 getting lost TWICE (once on the way there, once on the way back) in the post, I've finally started working with bojote's cfg tweaks. I have an issue with the FPS_Limiter_0.2 app, whereby it often fails to limit FPS correctly the first time I open up FSX.For reference, here is a shot of the limiter GUI as set for 50fps (I was doing some testing last night after tweaking, 50FPS made things VERY smooth with TrackIR in the VC, so I was trying to set the limiter to that):fpslimitergui.jpgMy fsx.exe.limited.bat reads:start C:\"Users\Nick\Desktop\FPS_Limiter_0.2\"FPS_Limiter.exe /r:D3D9 /f:50 /x:OFF /l:OFF "I:\FSX Installation\fsx.exeIn a scenario where I have just turned on the PC, and opened fsx.exe.limited.bat, I get the following once FSX has opened:fpslimiterfirst.jpgIf I then close FSX, close the FPS limiter CMD window, then reopen FSX again via the .bat, I get the following, where everything works as it should:fpslimitersecond.jpgHas anyone any idea why it won't just work the first time around? I have an issue with FSX whereby it gets a fatal error after a few minutes if I open it up more than once without restarting the computer, so unless I can resolve that, it's important that I get the limiter working first time! Thanks for any help!

My numbers are different, but I see the same thing fairly frequently - FPS limiter seems to like 30 fps :(You can adjust the FPS value manually using F11 and F12.
Thanks for your reply, it's interesting to hear that I'm not alone with this issue.Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any known workaround? Surely there must be another fps limiter application somewhere?

This is the only fps limiter that has shown up :( Important to note is that the goal is not to achieve a specific fps rate, but to dampen out swings in frame rates that you tend to get with fps=unlimited.
