Is there a good driveable vehicle for plane spotting?

Featured Replies

Sometimes I like to just cruise around the airports looking at the air traffic. Does anyone know a good freeware vehicle (truck, car, skateboard, etc) that is useful for that? Currently I drive around in the Cessna but the visibility isn't that great and the plane flips if I take a real tight turn at higher speeds. If there isn't anything out there, can I modify a copy of a plane so it turns on a dime and doesn't sway while turning? A high-speed zero turn-radius riding mower would be ideal. :( thanks,Thaellar

Very cool. That fits the bill nicely. Thanks JustinThaellar

I use Mitsuya Hamaguchi's (hama) "Vespa Truck" (three-wheeled pickup truck!) for this purpose:http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...26rlz%3D1I7ACEWYou can see it in action on this youtube video:

I use his LEXUS LS430 if I need to "run into town" for any reason... :(
