With my nvidia geforce 5600fx ultra card I was not seeing 2d panels in full-screen mode using the latest sanctioned nvidia driver (44.03).I installed the 45.20 beta driver and am now getting 2d panels and pop-up panels (GPS etc.) in full-screen mode with no problems so far. It also corrected the "screen goes to black" syndrome when accessing the main menu.I hope Nvidia comes out with an official version of this driver soon.Bob K

Another comment:AA was not a factor at all. When using the 45.03 driver, I could not see the 2D panel whether or not I had AA turned on or not, from either the driver or from within the program. I now have AA 2X on (activated from within the driver) and, using the 45.20 driver, get the 2D panels in full-screen mode.Bob K

This solution was a non-starter for me. While it does prevent the machine from rebooting (which is a nice touch), FSAA 2x still does not work properly for me (still get the black create flight dialog in full-screen mode, menu funkiness, the usual, etc...)GF4 Ti4400DirectX 9.0bnVidia 45.20 Drivers

The drivers come from nVidia, but it's a well known fact that these companies intentionally leak betas to the public so they can get free testing :)

Bob -I also confirm that teh 45.20 BETA version works (from guru3d.com).Could you verify that you can "spin" the plane from thecreat a flight screen ONLY in the windowed mode. If you're inthe full-screen mode, the mouse cursor disappears if you placeit in the spinning plane area ...Jerry G.P.S. this is a VERY minor issue. No big deal. Just want to verify.
