Best scenery add on?

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm looking to improve my flight sim experience by adding new scenery. I mainly fly in the uk and Europe. What would be the best add on scenery to buy? Fs global? Ultimate terrain? There are so many to choose from! Regardsirv320

The recent EPWA comes to mind, and Bremen, also the IFD italy scenery is very good..all freeware! For payware, UK2000 series, and a lot from Aerosoft.. look at the screenshots forum for impressions and ideas..

I'd recommend GEpro, it changes the whole globe. I am very pleased with it.

 Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

I agree with all of the above - GE Pro especially. I'm not aware of a lot of really good freeware scenery for the UK other than RAF stations (there are numerous excellent ones - Leuchars, Kinloss, Waddington, Coningsby etc.) and EGNV Leeds/Tyneside by Stephen Legg. I also strongly recommend UT Europe - that along with GEpro will really revolutionize your FS9 experience. Unfortunately the developers of the excellent Italian scenery mentioned by someone else is no longer operating but most of their scenery can still be found. Especially good are Rome (LIRF) and Milan (both LIMC and LIML). The Greek Airports Project (GAP) and Hellenic Scenery Project (I think that's their name) also put out some good ones, especially Thessalonika (LGTS) and Athens LGAV if you want some long-haul routes, and lots of wonderful Greek islands airports. There's also some good French freeware - especially LFRD (fantastic!) and a not too bad LFPG.

While we are at it, does anyone know where full proper ISD downloads are for LIRF and LIPZ?
