May 19, 201016 yr Thorsten, I can't pull the "I am a better expert than you" card since I lack MD11 flight time in my logbook; however, we did have quite a few MD11 line pilots on the beta team and they seemed pretty happy with the realism of the simulation. May 19, 201016 yr Hi there, for what it is worth the upper and lower YAW DAMP SYS on the MD 11 use up to 5 deg of rudder deflection to provide dutch roll protection and turn coordination. Any bank angle requiring more than 5 deg of rudder will require pilot input for a coordinated turn. I hopr that this helps.
