Thorsten, I can't pull the "I am a better expert than you" card since I lack MD11 flight time in my logbook; however, we did have quite a few MD11 line pilots on the beta team and they seemed pretty happy with the realism of the simulation. I guess I'll leave this thread now since I doubt I can add much more of value.

Hi there, for what it is worth the upper and lower YAW DAMP SYS on the MD 11 use up to 5 deg of rudder deflection to provide dutch roll protection and turn coordination. Any bank angle requiring more than 5 deg of rudder will require pilot input for a coordinated turn. I hopr that this helps.
