URGENT HELP IS NEEDED WITH AI FLIGHTPLANS!

Featured Replies

Hi all,I'm so confused right now with the situation of my AI. Ok, here is my story. Just to make sure I will tell you that I know how to add AI. The problem is with the flightplans. My AI aircraft are installed via PAI. So, I wanted an airline, Bulgaria Air in my case, but they didn't have it. So I checked with WOAI, and found out that they do. So, I got the package, the installer (I actually already had it) and the install went fine. I loaded FS9 and went to Sofia, where Bulgaria Air is based. I have AFCAD for the airport, but no Bulgaria Air planes showed. So I decided that it would be best to do it the manual way. So I went and got a djc_a320, got a flightplan, copied the aircraft into the Aircraft folder and looked up a tutorial on how to do it manually. I read it and began, but as I began, I remembered that I erased the default traffic file, which is needed for installing manually with TTools. I was now stumped. :( So now I thought that I should find a installer that would do for me, so I wouldn't do anything wrong. I went and installed the MRAI compiler/installer. I loaded the flightplan, but soon a message appeared saying that I have errors in my main Aircraft folder. I looked at the list, and it said that ONLY my addon aircraft don't have MDL files, but they fly perfectly fine. Now I was in shock! :( I kept on looking for alternatives, but nothing helped. This is my last stop before I do something I'll probably regret. I REALLY, REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!!! PLEASE HELP!!! :( Thanx in advance!

Hi,You confused me... But let me try to clear it up. You want a Bulgarian airline show up in Sofia. The WOAI installer should do it all for you. It provides the airplanes that are necessery and the schedule. For me it works fine. Did you use the WOAI installer? Came there any fault messages?Do there show up any other planes? How is your 'traffic density' set in FS options? Is it set to 100%? Is there a traffic BGL file in your fs9/scenery/world map?I hope this helps,Herman

Herman, Yes I did use the installer. No fault messages came up. My traffic density is at 100%, I just checked. I have AFCAD files, everything is set up, but the damn planes don't show up! The bgl file that you are talking about is the traffic030528.bgl. I erased that file because I don't want default airlines (landmark, pacifica, etc). drycos,I will try the methods explained and I will get back to you later.

One factor you may need to take into account is that there may simply not be any aircraft at the airport at that time. This is unlikely since this is their hub but with a relatively small fleet of 19 planes and 22 destinations you may have showed up at the exact moment in which not a single aircraft is at the airport. Just a thought there.

I have tried several times, at different hours. Even at like 3 AM. Nobody is there. What I'm planning to do is to just buy Ultimate Traffic, its $20so its not that expensive.

i recommend getting AITM v2. It's listed as alpha software but works fine. Note you first have to install ATIM v1.2 and then do a file replace from the AITM v2 zip.http://www.molitor-home.de/fs/Downloads.htmlOnce you have it installed you can uncompile the traffic bgl files you are interested in, and AITM will hsow you things such as airport timetable, all aircraft required by the file (with missing aircraft highlighted), and all aircraft installed on your system with ability to edit the AI/ATC-related parts. You can then subsitute any installed aircraft/texture for ones in the the traffic file.An alternative to look at is ACA2005. http://aifs2.pvdveen.net/?download=ACA2005scott s..
