May 28, 201016 yr What do you think of this combo? Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366) Processor - Retail #35938
May 28, 201016 yr Yes, a good setup, if you expect to OC the CPU, which also needs reliable cooling.Having 4G would, if even, have negative effect, because buses are triple-channel and not dual on this board. I would suggest same sticks but CL7 or higher Mhz x3.If it's FSX, where's the graphic card?

What power supply do you have or plan on? Shane Gavin
May 29, 201016 yr Author I currently have Corsair TX 650 and GTX260.I don't plan to change the gfx as can't afford it.Thanks
May 29, 201016 yr I do see that you mentioned what OS you plan on using, for 6GB of ram you will need a 64b OS. I am using Win7 Ult 64B and am so glad I made the jump from XP 32B to Win7 64b on my new system.Like everyone said go with 3x2GB of at least 1600MHz, 2000MHz only if your OC will be high enough to get use out of the 2000MHz speed or you will be just wasting your money on the 2000MHz ram. I would go with Mushkin ram, I have seen no one post a problem with this ram and I have seen people post problems with the Corsair ram, some MB's just do not like the Corsair ram for some reason when you start overclocking. The Corsair ram runs fine at 1033, but some people have run into problems getting the ram stable at 1600 or above.
