Hey Bryan,After calling "Set Power", it seems that my virtual co-pilot simply firewalls the throttles. Generally, I am EGT limited, so this approach really doesn't work. Can you tell me if there is any method for the FO setting power, or should I just set power myself? FWIW, based on RR's reply in the PMDG turboprop forum, this seems to be a slow application of power, rather than brute force. Not sure if anything can be down on the FS2C side. Thanks!----------------------Quote, RR:The process for a MAX POWER takeoff was: Advance the thrust levers to about 80% and let the temp stabilize, then slowly adjust the thrust levers forward until you hit EITHER the Torque or Temp limit on either engine.... The process for a REDUCED TORQUE takeoff was: Advance the thrust levers to about 80% and let the temp stabilize, then slowly adjust the thrust levers forward until the temp hits the lower white index line. -----------------------

Hi Jeff,Yes, he firewalls it, the reason being it's very difficult to get the FO to accurately position the throttles in a "nuanced" way. The reason is because most users have joystick throttles, and those throttles will override the input sent by FS2Crew to control the throttle position. So, if you're EGT limited, etc., just manually trim the power after you call "set power".Cheers,
