June 6, 201015 yr there is not hydraulic standby system simulation on 737pmdg ,, missing auto ignition, and it would be nice to improve the failiure interface, speedbrakes drag efficiency very unreal

The new version of the 737 (737NGX) is due out in the next few months (mid 2010). Another thing to do is get some of PMDG's later models, Jetstream 41, MD11 to see what the quality of PMDG's current fleet is like now. Andrew McCluskey

The start system on the current NG is perfect..also why would you need a standby hydraulic system in a flight sim?
June 7, 201015 yr George, the pmdg guys prefer we sign our posts with our names, even if our name is our screen name.Auto ignition in the NG is pretty much the same as in any turbojet. Useful if you're injesting moisture.Backup/redundant system modelling in a simulation is the basis for calling these 'study simulations.' The user may practice emergency procedures and study the QRH. The MD-11 is the latest study sim (the JS41 is newer but not considered in this class), and is a preview of some of what they may be doing in the new 737 sim. Dan Downs KCRP

June 8, 201015 yr Commercial Member Yeah, guys please see the thread in the general forum, we're making an all new NG from scratch that will be out this year. Much much more detailed than the original - the original is 7 years old now and was the first thing PMDG ever made for MSFS.
