Hi all,Whenever I am about to take off, and advance the throttles to full the take off configuration warning system sounds. I don't know why. Most of the time I ignore it and when I lift off, it stops. But I am a realism buff, and I feel as if I am doing something against procedure. I unfeather the props when I start, (BTW despite all the explanation on this topic, I still don't understand how to properly shut down the engine so that the props stay unfeathered. If anyone cares to try to help me understand, be my guest.), the trim is within the T/O zone, the flaps are set 9, and the condition levers are set flight. Still the alarm sounds. Thanks for your help!-Ethan Rayhorn

Hi Ethan,as far as I can remember (yes my rig died) my best guess would be advancing throttles on TOGA with parking brakes on...Pierre

Ethan,If the condition levers are in flight, then check the RPMs...they should be at 100%. If not, you have a controller issue, and you should recalibrate your condition levers.

As for shutting down and keeping the props unfeatheredWhen you shut down the engines just pull the throttle levers into reverse (hold F2) once the engine drop below 60% RPM (from memory). You will hear the engine/prop sound change.

You can also spend some time, and fly the tutorial flight with tutorial manual in hand, everything is well explained there. And You can read checklists (witch I do) if You are really so much into realism, You can't miss anything with them. But unarmed spoilers seems the most possible cause in this case.About shutting down: I set the throttles to reverse, one at the time. When I did it using F2 key, sometimes plane flipped to the tail.
