If Captain Sim made one its framerates'll be as bad as the 757s and 767s IMHO :(.It's best to wait for Flight1 to make one or at least wait for SamDim to upgrade to FSX.Dave.
I haven't experienced any bad framerates with the Capt Sim 757 - don't use their 767, I prefer my Level D 767. So you think Flight 1 will suddenly start making Russian Aircraft? - On what did you base that? Also in a lot of cases Flight1 did not actually make the aircraft they only distribute it and it was made by a 3rd party developer.I still think for the moment that the most likely payware source of quality Russian aircraft for FS9 and FSX is Captain Sim, and I think it is important to develop them for FS9 as well (not just FSX) as a lot of us who fly complex Russian planes still prefer to use FS9.I wonder what will happen in the future, if Microsoft release their new proposed simulator - 'Flight'. Will 3rd party development for it be possible, and if so will we have our favorite Russian aircraft represented in it - in a realistic manner?

...about a year ago a Vitamin Tu-154M version was available that had a good-looking VC, again with the PT gauges and flight dynamics...
Hi ! I'd love to check out this version of the Vitamin Tu-154M with a VC. I've searched hard in the usual places (avsimrus, etc...), but all I could find was a set of textures intended for the VC, but no model with VC... Help ! Thanks...( I already have the PT versions with VC).

Ok I found it... So now I'm going to merge the Vitamin Tu-154M virtual cockpit (23722-154-vit.zip) with the new FSX gauges I found at avsimrus too (41246-Tu-154M-dlya-FSX.zip)... while waiting for Kyrill Konovalov native FSX version of the PT Tu-154B...

Sorry, I didn't see your post earlier.Vitamin Tu-154M - http://www.avsimrus.com/f/fs2004-aircrafts-40/vc-154-vitamin-23722.html?action=download&hl=vitaminPanel.cfg update to work with PT Tu-154M v2.03 - http://www.avsimrus....load&hl=vitaminGlad you found the Vitamin Tu-154M - I've tried it in FS9 and I'm really impressed. The VC is fantastic and it offers very good frame rates. The model is very good, although it doesn't offer APU animations like the PT one and I also like the landing and taxi lights better on the PT model.

Thanks Momtchil, I was able to tweak a FSX Tu-154M based on the Vitamin model with VC , it is indeed a very nice model, but this is going nowhere... framerates are really bad, russian avionics are over simplified... well, this is a very poor FS9 portover to FSX and it's better I give up...Since you have good contact with developpers like Konovalov, Samdim, Suprunov, Project Tupolev and such, could you ask around what are the chances to see a good FSX native Tupolev appearing soon? Or any classic russian airliner like the Yak 42, Tu-134 and such? Konovalov Il-86 is great, I hope he'll use his talent to build or convert to native FSX a long awaited Tu-154... Thanks!

Project Tupolev have stated that they are not interested in doing aircraft for FSX for the time being, but they have given permission for anyone interested in adapting their planes to FSX.Suprunov has been working on an FSX version of his Yak-40.There's rumors that Kirill Konovalov is planning on doing IL-62 and Tu-154 aircraft for FSX (based on the PT planes), but I'm not aware of anything definite, and even if he is - it will likely take some time. Try his IL-18, IL-22 and IL-38 (http://www.avsimrus.com/files.phtml?search=34726-Il-18.zip) - they're pretty good (based on earlier work by project IL-18), although I don't know if the planes work properly in FSX. I'm perfectly happy with FS9 and don't use FSX much. There's also potential future development for An-24 and Tu-134 by Soviet Classic Simulations, but I don't know if this is going to materialise.
