can someone tell me what command is required to make a gauge that i add to a panel undockable/dockableI am adding a gauge and i want to be able to undock it and then move it similar to other gauges in fsx but I cant find the code to do this.Peter

I did exactly as per the Baron setup , the gauge is in a separate window.I must be doing something wrong because when i try to undock the little gauge it also undocks the scenery so the view out the windscreen goes black and i cant move the gauge.heres what i did1 i added a window and called it the new gauge2 I added the gauge to the main panel list of gauges and described it3 I added the window below the main section as per the sequence number of the window and described its location and detailthoughts Thankspeter

Simply put, you've mangled your panel.cfg... completely mangled it.The panel window entries should be sequential. The last panel window entries should be the VC window(s).

Your normal windows must be listed ahead of the vcockpit windows but the default C172 panel.cfg clearly shows that they do not have to be sequential.

Thanks, thats what i thought because that was how the default looked to me, but I have all of the windows ahead of the vc but i still cannot undock the gauge Peter

No, this is now full screen mode, it is in window modeActually i tried the advice above ( not the comment about the mangled panel.cfg) but the advice suggesting that all windows must be above the vc. In my case I rearranged the all windows including the serv info window to be above the vc window. The file I amended was the stock c-172 panel file.Once i did all of the above the little serv info gauge shows up in the cockpit and works, but when i undock it , it seems locked to the scenery or view out of the window.There most be some simple fix for this but I have yet to find it.Thank you all for your help,Pete
