June 27, 201015 yr I have the RealAir Duke and the Carenado Bonanza and are in love with them. Are there other GAs single or twin piston of similar quality which I should try? (preferrably they should be easy to drop in a RXP GNS 530 and/or GNS430). I also have the SR22T but I feel that the interior quality is not as good as the Duke or Bonanza. The DA42 looks good but I love guages & GNS units more than a full Garmin 1000 glass cockpit. Many Thanks.
June 27, 201015 yr Hm, well, I think the two you mentioned are the absolute top... afaik there is nothing better out there then those two! There are other nice planes, of course, but the Duke and the Bonanza simply are the best right now: anything else will be nice and okay and great but just not as good as those two (at least not when you want to be able to put the RXP GNS in it!).
June 27, 201015 yr Commercial Member The Duke and the Bonanza are pretty much at the top of the heap, I agree. One other that you might like is Carenado's C185 Skywagon. I don't do much in the way of gauge substitution, but it's got quite a bit of free space on the panel if memory serves. It might suit your needs. Plus, it'll give you access to shorter runways and rougher terrain, too (w/the tundra tires package). Just a thought. June 27, 201015 yr Commercial Member What about Flight 1's BN-2 ? It seems really good. I haven't yet bought it myself but will soon.
June 27, 201015 yr I consider this jet great for GA and it is also compatible with RXP GNS430W unit. It's probably the best plane created for FSX, the Lotus L39...I use it all the time on vatsim for flying private jet hops!http://lotussim.com/http://lotussim.com/features-general-rxpgps.htmlIt is extremely FPS friendly as well | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

June 27, 201015 yr Thanks, I already have the L-39 (which is a nice aircraft) but I haven't got used to not having AP.Hehe looks like you have all the good planes then. For a quick n easy autopilot you can add the default one in - I had the same question on lotus' forums. Now I can have altitude and heading hold while flying on vatsim for those longer trips. You need to be logged into the forums but all the info is located here:http://www.lotussim.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=469 | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
