Is there away to greatly reduce the effect of light bloom via the cfg file. I have never used it but now that I have a better rig I decided to give it a whirl, when approaching an airport it was like an aurora borealis effect, I would like a little bloom but not that much.

Not sure whether it is adjustable.Why not download the ENB mod which is much easier on framerates and every aspect is adjustable.IAN

In the display section of the fsx.cfg file you can raise or decrease the intensity of the lights by adding the following lines. Set values to your liking!! These are mine, but I don't use Bloom!RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=1.2RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=0.9RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=2.0RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=2.0
