Vic,I have bought the Western Europe part (3DVDs) through simMarket. Shipping took only a few days (Germany).BTW: It eats up 23GB, but it is possible to install it on any drive, as long as you put a copy of fsx.exe into the directory where FS Altitude resides.Regards,Michael

I didn't get it yet. Anyway after I placed my order with simmarket... I went to the fsaltitude site and they were selling at 1/2 the price. THey must have changed their site right after I ordered from simmarket :( . What luck.they have a video over at fslaltitude if you want to see what it looks like.

I bought Western Europe and it exceeded my expectations. As long as I stay above 20,000 ft. the amount of blurriness is acceptable, and there is no need to widen the zoom factor to such an extreme as they show in their screens and video. Just don't try looking too steeply down, or you'll catch a glimpse of the default texture "cone" beneath you. Also, I haven't seen any jarring coloration mismatches at scenery junctions. One minus: near some coastlines not all the water mask has been filled in to the smallest detail...a little default shows through. But this is only an occasional distraction. The ability to fly over a very long stretch of photoreal scenery (albeit with some blurriness) is very appealing. I think I will pick up the Eastern US/Western US and Mexico combo bundle while it is on sale.John
