Its working great took her up for a flight today, one question though, When I have the AP on and set a new Altitude I say "Altitude Flight Level 380" or I say "Altitude 38000 ft" is the coplilot not supposed to say "38000 Checked" it does it for the heading but never the altitude, Im probably saying it wrong or something.

Hi Ian,Glad it's all going smooth for you.It works this way:If you want the FO to set the altitude to that value you'd say:"SET FLIGHT LEVEL THREE EIGHT ZERO".or"SET ALTITUDE THREE EIGHT THOUSAND".But since 38,000 is well above the transition altitude for every place that I know of, you'd use Flight Level. If you want to manually set the Altitude, and have the FO confirm it you'd do it this way:"FLIGHT LEVEL THREE EIGHT ZERO" (no 'set' prefix). You'd then dial 38,000 feet in the MCP.The FO will say "Flight Level 3 8 0 checked" once you've set FL380 in the MCP.Best,

This was the part I was having problems with he was not confirming that I changed the FL to 380. But its working today, I think that at one point during my fight last night I had the mute button engaged :( (had a phone call) thats why he was not confirming my new altitude. Thanks for the help though.
