FSX GPS/Autopilot

Featured Replies

I am puzzled by this... I have been using FS2004 for several years and am quite familiar with it. However I am new to FSX and I am trying to engage the autopilot to fly the GPS route programmed. I must be missing something because it will not engage with the GPS selected. I am using the B738 in the FSX program, I tried with the B744 and it works fine? I have the CMD button ON, it will hold the Altitude and Heading, and Speed, but when I select the NAV/GPS to the GPS position it does not intercept the route? Like I said the B744 is fine, only the B738 isn't working.Russell

Did you remember to hit the CMD A button? It works for me:

Yes, I sure did remember to select CMD A. Still no luck?

1. NAV/GPS to GPS.2. VOR LOC on.3. Autopilot on (CMD A).And, of course, a flight plan loaded. That's it.
