August 7, 201015 yr Hello if some members can help me this issue on my FSX it had been no navigation lights included all addon aircraft., landing lights, Beacon, Taxi light all works.
August 8, 201015 yr Were your add-ons installed by an installer, or were they .zip files which you had to install manually? Mike Beckwith
August 8, 201015 yr I suspect MOST addon aircraft use the default navigation lights; do you still have nav lights on the default aircraft? If not, then the light effect files may have been damaged or replaced by some addon. If you have nav lights on the default AC, then the problem is most likely in the addon aircraft themselves; maybe there is no nav lights specified in the LIGHTS section of the aircraft config file (which is where they are defined and located). Nothing else makes sense...Loyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro

August 8, 201015 yr Are you using DX10? As on some GPUs have issues displaying lights in DX10 mode. Because is you see the glow of the navs on the aircraft there is lighting, but if there are black squares where the lights would be; there's some missing/corrupt files which can be fixed with a repair, just rerun REX and run any recompile/repair utilities for UTX and UT2 after repairing FSX.
