Am I the only one - 2D Panels ?

Ya I miss them too. I mean, I spend most of my time flying in VC, but when I need to adjust a radio, or flip a switch thats clear on the other side of the cockpit (Bonanza EGT gauge anyone?) It would be nice to just switch over to 2D make the quick change and switch back, instead of having to zoom all the way in. Thats very uncomfortable for me especially if I'm flying by hand, as I have absolutely zero situational awareness. I dont have track IR and I'm sure that makes a huge difference.The clickable pop-up panels are a good solution but I feel that if you are going to do that, make EVERY gauge and insturment a pop-up. For example in the Bonanza, the DME is not a pop-up, neither is the EGT gauge (be nice for seting the mixture), neither is the radio stack, neither are the light switches, ect ect. Kudos however, for making the AP panel a pop-up... at least it can hold the aircraft while I zoom in and out everywhere ;-P.
