MD-11 Lights Problem

Featured Replies

Good Evening, i've a problem with taxi and landing lights of PMDG MD-11 (my version is original). When i try to activate the taxi or the landing lights they don't work. They appear far from the aircraft and they don't light the runway.I try to reistall PMDG MD-11, chainging textures in REX but without success. In the screen there is a photo where landing lights appearThis problem doesn't present with PMDG 747-XAny Suggestions? It's impossible for my flight during night :(Thanks To All...

Install the original spotlight.bmp that may have been replaced by REX or another program. I believe REX backs up the originals, but I'm not an expert on REX. You might also find this file on the internet since this is a pretty common problem.

Dan is correct, but I also want to point out this also happens with corrupt saved flights. If you have a PMDG saved as default, reset your default to something simpler like the default C172 and the problem will go away.* You can still select a PMDG from the menu before going into the sim, but a PMDG MD-11 or 747 should never be your default that loads when FSX starts, it opens up a can of worms not PMDG related.
