August 21, 201015 yr http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Aviation_DayHappy National Aviation day everyone, let's all have some fun flying today!Pretty interesting. Never knew that there was a National Aviation Day. Hopefully it will become big soon but not so big that flying no longer is a "secret" or exclusive thing. August 21, 201015 yr no longer is a "secret" or exclusive thing.I read that and it made me curious - How do you figure that flying is either exclusive or secret? at this point I find it's relatively neither, all the information is publicly available - the only thing not public is access to things like the DUATS system (Which requires Legal Pilot/Dispather Status). Infact, Duats is the only thing I can think of that's really an exclusive part of aviation for pilots..... It's not even all that special - it's only providing information that can be just as easily received by a phone call to Lockheed Martin. And Happy belated aviation day :)
