Hi,Now there will be a change for the weather in fs2004:Damian Clark has has recently acquired Simulation Widgets' product line, Weather Center 2 Keith Kile, Developer and Founder of Simulation Widgets, will be providing support to HiFi in order to assist with the transition and to advise on future development of his core technologies. All Best feature from both in one + extra bonus fs sky world 2004 compatible.http://simulationwidgets.com:8080/WC2/Wc2Home.htmThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFs

Hi Geof,"a stormscope/strikefinder gauge that could tap in?"http://simulationwidgets.com:8080/WC2/gallery.htmgo see if it is already available with weather center 2, if not, you should post this question to active sky forum, this new weather engine will have tons of unique features, radar gauge etcNow active sky will merge both feature from both product. Damian has stated in the AS forum that a storm radar was on the way. I hope, if so, it is a gauge and not an external module as is the current Weather Center one I tried in the demo (FS2K2). That one was not continuously scalable but either large or small and had to be handled as a pop-up. Also postings stated it did not accurately show the cells or could not be used to fly between cells on 2K2.Whether the new "local" weather cell portion of the 2K4 engine will allow this will be interesting.

Same here-the external module is too large for me-and actually does too much! :-) It is terrific-and I will probably purchase it.Sure would like a gauge instead though-and I get the "flicker" big time.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/Geofdog2.jpg

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

That's great news Chris, thanks for the heads up.For sure this merge will end in an outstanding weather product.Keep up the great job.Carlos.PS: As Geofa, I also go for a gauge instead a module, luckily it won't be too system demanding and my low end computer will be able to handle it.

Great News!! looking forware to see the final product.Better if its a gauge too.

Good news it seems.Geofa - Can you imagine a working stormscope and Nexrad display, with your choice of uplink or downlink capability?!? And a weather radar!! Would almost make me want to fly GA exclusively. That's the only thing missing from this sim!!
