Jean-Jacques,For goodness sake, where does it state ANYWHERE in what you have quoted that non-owners can choose this forum rather than going to official forum to receive support information?
Dude, you are seriously lost. If you are a non-owner, how do you recieve support? And he was not looking for support was he? He was looking for information from his fellow simmers, which is what a lot of people do here at AVSIM. If you dont like the fact that he got information you didnt want him to get, or dont like how things posted here gets seen by a large number of flight simmers and possible future customers, then shut it down, and stop monitoring it as if it was the official support portal. And are you seriously going to now interpret forum guideslines as an exclusive document? So there for if someone starts a topic off topic of Level D you will then ban them because nowehere is it stated that you can choose this forum to talk about anything other than the Level D? But then again you cant talk about the Level D here because you want them to use the official forum for that, which requires a product code from Flight 1, so if you dont own the plane, you get no answers (sounds like another developer...)Compared to the other boards here that I am very familiar with, Radar Contact, FS2Crew, PMDG, HiFi Sim, all are great places to go, chat with other flight simmers on how their are using their product. I can't imagine what would happen if HiFi went off like you do when simmers trade methods, settings, and workarounds on using Active Sky.So I guess I can amend my recommendation on the Level D 767. It is a good sim of a great plane, you will have lots of fun with it, especially if you buy FS2Crew to go with it. But there are some glitches that LDS knows about but does not fix, their support is bad at best, and you better watch out for Mr S, because he will either ruin your good day, or decide he doesnt like your tone and flat out tell you he will never offer you support.

Scott,I'm not you're dude. I understand you have a low opinion of my work, but there's no need for the jabs. I have a job to do. I receive a percentage of the sale of the product (along with the other team members), and I have an obligation to administer the support of the product, and to minimize piracy. Do you think your arguments here will change the company policy? It won't.>If you are a non-owner, how do you recieve support? You don't.>And he was not looking for support was he? How do you know that? We will never know now, since you answered his question already. Why is Jean-Jacques posting here rather than the official forum (the general forum is open to all)? I requested that he come to the Level-D official forum. It's a click on a link. I have expained the reason for the existance of this forum... it's somewhere around here.>which requires a product code from Flight 1, so if you dont own the plane, you get no answers (sounds like another developer...)Yes, that's correct. That seems fair to me. If you don't own the product, why would anyone want support for something they don't own? Are you advocating that these niche market products - sales are crucial to the success of flight simulator add-ons products - offer support to one and all, regardless of whether they have paid for the product? >Compared to the other boards...Do the products you mention offer a money back guarantee? As for the rest, Scott, time to let it go.

You are the one who made it personal, REVOKEd my offical support forum access, a paying customer, in nice capital letters. Its not your work I have a problem with, it is your attitude. I dont like your attitude, dont like how you treat paying customers, dont like how you treat potential customers who inquire about it, how you treat people in this forum, and I will tell anyone who asks me about Level D such.
