Hello again,Like in my last Post i wondered if is posibel to ghett texture SAS i dont mind if is the older or new.Scandinavian doesn't fly anymore with 742 but in SAV we have the option to fly this great airplane like "Classic Flight".I try textures from Avsim but they are to fs9 and i have fsx, i try to install in 747-400 (not in 748i /F) but vc cockpit is black and exterior have some wight zones.Please, if Staff or someone like to help with this matter very apreciated.all the best and great flights to allLuis Serpanote: if is posibel texture SAS to 748i/F

Hi Luis, I wouldn't expect anyone from staff to answer any livery requests. In fact, it isn't even technically allowed here and Avsim has an area specifically for requests. PMDG put out tons of liveries with each aircraft and then other painters take it from there. There are a couple of threads (topics) in the 747 section where people have listed there work and have taken requests. Here is one of them. As it stands now there is a painter doing a lot of liveries and has a list a mile long already, but if you're looking for the sense of being heard that would be the place to post your request.There is also a livery paint tutorial you might want to look at and maybe have a crack at it yourself since this paint wouldn't be that difficult for a 1st.

Hi Dan,Thanks for your amability to answer, i try to ask Mark if posibel to make that texture, about use the repaint kit i never try that and maybe to old for that :) i would like but i am conscient of my limitations :) If you se "around" texture SAS i dont mind if old or new colors for this 748 please let me know.all the best and happy flights :)Luis Serpa

I wouldn't limit yourself there, Luis. Especially on your age. I'm possibly older than you and I actually wrote the tutorial just a few months ago. I wrote it in a way to welcome the novice and in a step by step follow along method since I know this particular old man likes it when a tutorial takes me by the hand and doesn't let me stray on my own, til I'm ready.No artistic abilities needed what-so-ever, it's called painting but you will probably never find a paint that is really painted the way one normally thinks :(

Hello Luis,As Dan said, don't limit yourself. Dan's put an excellent tutorial together that takes you from scratch to a working repaint and it helped me alot.:( I went from knowing nothing to now having over 70 repaints to my credit in 9months (OK a few are updates I know). Anyway, I put together a "mini tutorial" for you to follow for when you have an FS9 aircraft that has problems in FSX. It's 10 simple steps. You can find that info back on the other thread where you posted about the FS9 SAS.All you need is a computer, and some patience.! Give it a go. If you get stuck we can help you. I have done the "hard part" and I already have a version that I know works.Given that this repaint is not my own, I don't have the rights to distribute this hence the guidance.All the best,
