September 14, 201015 yr Can you give me an idea of what to fix?15 minutes into a flight with Otto controlling Coms and the plane, Otto stopped responding to heading and altitude instructions.RC is still running: Instructions are being issued and Otto is changing frequencies but not reacting to other instructions. The FSUIPC window is showing the correct waypoints and is updating.None of the hotkeys are communicating with RC any longer. The plane is CLS A340-300. Also FSPassengers and FDC Live cockpit are running.I have removed already as many hot keys commands as I can from the other programs Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. September 14, 201015 yr Author I think I have found he answer. It seems to be a program running in the background which upset the running of RC. I just have to track it down. September 14, 201015 yr See if the main FS window is losing focus. Occasionally I have seen a background application that poles periodically steal focus with a popup. That popup might be in back the FS display. When it happens alt-tab to see if a dialog is being hidden. The two pinned topics regarding file errors especially with Kapersky AV note that some applications that frequently access other folder's files are blocked being seen as viral. Be sure RC is a trusted application in all security applications being run. While you may not see an error dialog because it is hidden by a foreground window this may apply. Here is an free advanced process monitoring application from MS that can run in the background and you can alt-tab to it when a problem occurs. It has the advantage of showing what application is running a process.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspxAlso take a look at other applications in the sysinternals suite. You might have to set process explorer to start with a run as admin property in its shortcut. If you are using Win 7 or VISTA with UAC on, let me know if it runs OK.
