I am on 5.4 and I have the new Wembley Stadium. So comments above are odd about 5.4 having the old one.

I am going to piggy back on this, instead of starting a new topic. I have had a very stable set up for many, many months, until about 2 or 3 months ago. Then I started to get the odd CTD. I didn't worry too much as I could just re boot and all would go well until the next time. There seemed to be no pattern, as I was flying a different route each time. However, this last week (and there has been a W10 update Tuesday last week) I have had two CTDs while flying the same route . Both over North Africa en route to EGLL. They were both the dreaded x.........05 Terrain.dll. The only thing that has changed on my PC is the Windows update and a driver update to 552.22 My settings are very low for EGLL and have worked fine previously. Could a Windows update affect P3D? I really don't know ? All the usual SFC checks show nothing missing. Any suggestions?

Ray, Very interesting. I also have it running on my desktop. However, it is using absolutely nothing: CPU, Disk, Network and GPU usage are all nil It is only using 1.3 Mb of memory. The slider was set to 2 hours. Which I have changed to 7 days.

I thought that might be a bit expensive for the average pilot (Oops, Person).

Chance would be a fine thing. But I am not going to fork out yet another fortune to have another sim. when the 5.4 I have works more than well enough for me.

Tested again. The exact same views as the video. No appearing/disappearing runway markings, (I wouldn't call that flickering). But my scenery seems to be a bit more detailed than yours. e.g. the taxi-ways are more rounded and I don't have the square edges for the grass bits.

Even at 7 miles (FL 390,approx.) it makes minimal difference.

I am sure there is some knowledgeable person out there who has come across this before. Chase plane has worked for me for 3 years with only minor problems. Five days ago I started my P3Dv5.4 and loaded the PMDG 747along with all the usual (AS, STB,RC4, GMap) but the preset keys for views did not work. I have had this before and a restart of AS cures it. This time, nothing. I then noticed that the Red/Green indicator was red, meaning no connection, and 2 areas of the menu were greyed out. I had made no changes to my PC. I did all the usual: rebooted PC, restarted P3D, nothing fixed it. Eventually, I raised a ticket, and got prompt help. I did all the suggested things, including excluding files from virus scanners, ensuring programs ran with Admin privileges, still nothing In desperation, I re-installed CP several times and have now reverted Windows to a version that worked a month ago, just in case a rogue update had changed something, and finally I re-installed P3D (Content scenery and Client, in the correct order!) , nothing has corrected the problem. CP support says their code cannot have changed and it is most probably something in my PC that is blocking/interfering. CP is just not connecting to P3D at all. (On the splash screen it says "Connect to P3D to use Chase plane). I don't know what else to do, can anyone help? Ian🙏

Well mine did. It put its own interface into the P3D start up screen and messed up everything. It looked nothing like what you show. Yes, I did download it from the official site.

Very disappointed in Reshade. Small postage stamp interface in the P3D settings screen, which can't be enlarged to read anything and takes for ever to do apparently nothing, as there is no progress indicator. Will not go down that route.

Just curious. Where do you get this updated info? To be honest, I just accept what it gives me.

Well, I suppose in a way it is better to incur Ray's wrath as a controller rather than as a Moderator!

And you didn't mention Simbrief/Navigraph (also payware), which loads directly into a multitude of options including P3D and PMDG.
