Hey guys,I am thinking of upgrading my Intel E6750 to an E8600And my EVGA gforce 8800GT graphics card to a gigabyte GTX480/GTX465 Will this give a noticeable performance boost with FSX?thanksyahav

I upgraded from E6750+9800GT to E8400+275GTX. I can't say it made any real difference for me in FSX or FS2004.

If you buy the GTX 480 their will be a differnce and the CPU will give a boost to, yea, not substansial but maybe a few FP/S

The E8600 will overclock to 4gHz or more, you should overclock it. If your mobo will allow a quad core, I'd recommend a Q9650 and settle for a gtx285 1gb, or, if funds allow it, a gtx 460, they come superclocked cheap-ish.
