Hello,I use mcp combo vr insight !Do you think it is possible to get directly interfaced with the PMDG aircraft for fsx via SDK (software Development Kit) ????Then there is a feedback to the panel with the settings for mcp etc!The Level D 767 plane has got it! As far as I'm aware of there no SDK for PMDG 744.You might find smth here: www.flightsimlabs.comIt's payware but some people here mentioned that it's the only thing that made the Queen compatible with their hardware.Good luck...

If you are only asking for the displays: no the unfortunately do NOT work as in the Level-D or FSX Standard planes.You have not the setted values, but the actual values, e.g. you have dialed in 10000ft as ALT: you will see in FSX Standard and Level-D "10000" in the MCP Combo display. In the MD-11 you will see the current height. where your aircraft is actual flying.I got used to it see this actual values also as very informative...If your question is if you should buy the MCP Combo anyway I could recommend it!If you look at the price and what you get, its a very good value.Maybe other similar hardware is better in some aspects (I don't know it) but is much more expensive!The whole benefit of the MCP Combo is with a registered version of FSUIPC and the "FSUIPC VRInsight-Mod"

Hello,theres no real tutorial right now.I only can point you to the FSUIPC documents. But these are pretty complete and will explain everything.But of course, with no pictures and step-by-step advice.to use LUA is simple:got to e.g. FSUIPC forum and look into the stickies. There are several LUA codes (and Macros) for addons.copy the codes and open your Editor program.Insert the code and save it as XYChoosacoolname.LUA into your modules folderstart FSX, start a flight and open FSUIPC menu.push a joybutton (or key) and search on the pull down menu for your LUA.should be found under: Lua XYChooseacoolnamenow it belongs to the LUA script:a) the LUA executes when pushing a button - no further step neededb ) (damned sunglass smiley :( B ) thats the most one: you have to insert a parameter number in the field below (see picture)these parameter numbers should be explained in a readme or in the LUA itselfBUT:LUAs only work for one special addon!Every developer is using different variables, an every LUA is programmed in a different way!So parameter "11" works for PMDG J41 "left gen on", but of course not for any other addon, not for the PMDG MD11 or the Flight1 Mustang e.g.In this case you have to choose their special LUA scripts.LUAs are the last way to assign your hardware.Before this, you should try FSUIPC Mouse Macros (well explained in the manual)Macros are much easier to create then LUAs (just a few clicks)But these need 2D Panels.As more and more developers use VC only Macros will get rare. And not any 2D panel is guaranteed to work with it.Then LUAs comes in.
