September 26, 201015 yr When I fly around in my Airbus X I see a haze below. Nice. However, when I look down at my instruments, I see the haze disappear! When I look up again, it's back one more. It's quite annoying, really... Anyone knows how I can avoid the haze from disappearing? With the haze:Looking a bit lower and the haze is gone:
September 26, 201015 yr Are you near a transition level of the haze? Are you using the ENB mod? The glare (or other effects) change with viewing angle to the horizon.Just a couple thoughts.Loyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
September 26, 201015 yr I have the same issue. It is with the ENB plug in. I know of no solution, but I just got used to it or didn't look there. The plugin is too good to stop using it just for this issue.
September 27, 201015 yr Ah, yes, I use the ENB mod. Bummer. Will have to get used to it then... Thanks for the replies!
September 27, 201015 yr Hi jeroen,You dont really have to get used to it... you can fix it! :( The way the enb mod works is that it gets an average of screen brightness to determine whether to display its daytime settings or its nighttime settings.Whats happening there is that as you look down into the cockpit the average screen brightness drops to its nightime level and it gives the impression that its turning off.Set aside an hour or two and go to the enb website here: http://enbdev.com/index_en.htmlRead through the documentation section and experiment with some things, after a little while youll know it back to front.D.
