October 5, 201015 yr I was wondering how the J41 or similar sized aircraft would have been delivered to the US or Australia. Would it have been by flying short hops all the way? or by ship?I know it's an odd question, but one that has been bugging me lolJohn Ellison
October 5, 201015 yr Even single engine GA-planes from the US are flown to europe in some legs, I guess this should also be the case for the Jetstream. Regards. Matthias Hanel MilViz Beta Team
October 5, 201015 yr Even single engine GA-planes from the US are flown to europe in some legs, I guess this should also be the case for the Jetstream.I will add to this that there are several blogs/journals online of people doing round the world flights in single engine planes (usually with mods that include extra gas and the like.) I'm not sure I would like a 12 hour flight over the Pacific in a single engine plane, but its been done.... I find some of tose reads kind of interesing in a "I'll stick to commercial flights for long distances, thanks" kind of way.
