September 12, 200322 yr Is there any way at all for me to use my copy of XP with another computer at home?? What a load of crap, damn MS racket going on. There must be a way, just want to use it on my other home box here.Hornit
September 12, 200322 yr Not legally. By accepting the terms of the license agreement, you agree to use WinXP on one system. In essence, you are purchasing the software and the right to use it on only one system.-Max Cowgill
September 13, 200322 yr If they allowed that Hornit they would be bankrupt by, lets see.......2203 perhaps :-lol, mind you it would be good PR and maybe even get more home users to purchase legal copies.
September 13, 200322 yr Maybe that since you have the disk you could install XP on #2 until near the 30 day limit, and having left the Win98se on to reboot you could re-format any Xp paretition then re-install for another 30 days>?Allen
September 13, 200322 yr Now THAT would be quite a pain in the A##! As stated above you can't do it legally but if the original poster REALLY wanted to do it he could just do a little research and find the solution. There are ALWAYS ways around obstacles. Not that I recommend doing such a thing :)
