October 13, 201015 yr Good day. I'm trying to set up my Saitek throttles to turn on the fuel switches rather than using the pedestal panel. I've set FSUIPC up to set the mixture to rich (which works with almost every other aircraft), but it will not turn them on. Is there a certain offset I need to write to so I can get the levers to turn off and on? Just wondering! Thanx.-Rick
October 14, 201015 yr Not a problem and easy. In FSUIPC selct the button you want to use, check box "For FS Control", scroll down to "Toggle Fuel Valve Eng #" of your choice.Jim Dow
October 15, 201015 yr Hi Jim and I am after a little more info for this please. So if I assign Toggle fuel valve eng 1 it will open on one push and shut on the second? Is that how it works or do I need to assign another command?Your FSUIPC data for this would be appreciated as I tried this last night but nothing happens.Your help appreciated.Rob Rob GrantCompass Airlines - Stretch Your Wings Australia

Toggle means that the same button or switch controls both directions, on /off. I'm not sure as to how you have yours is set up, should be straight forward. Did you check the box that is laeled "aircraft specific'? Also, make sure that no other assignments exist in the default FS assignment applet as far as buttons/ switches are concerned. Mine is assigned just as I explained it, aircraft specific, select button of your choice, check fs assignment box, scroll to toggle fuel valve. Should work. Undo any previous assignments you may have made. I also made the same assignment to the lower button so button #2 opens the fuel valve and #3 will close it. Doesn't make any difference as it is a toggle switch, but it is the way I do it. One switch will work it both ways. Here is my button assignments from the FSUIPC.ini file although this may not help you as I'm using two Saitek TQ's and a CH TQ. Some button assignments on the CH are for the panels and other things. But the Buttons/Switches in the registered version of FSUIPC should work for you. Here's how I have mine assigned for the Saiteks:TQ #1: Button #0=Prk Brk, #1=Toggle Pushback; #2 Toggle Fuel Valve #1; #4 Toggle Fuel Valve #2TQ #2: Button #0=Panel 8; #1=panel 6; Last 4 I don't have assigned. I'll need to see if there is something I can use those for. Hope all this helps.Jim D[buttons.B737-800]15=R0,2,C65567,016=R0,3,C65749,017=P0,1,C65567,018=P0,0,C65861,019=R0,5,C65615,021=R3,8,K120,822=R4,8,K120,823=R3,6,K120,826=P0,15,C66483,027=P0,16,C66494,028=P0,17,C66494,029=P0,18,C66495,030=P0,19,C66495,031=P3,0,C65913,032=P0,14,C65752,033=P1,0,C66384,034=P1,1,C66383,035=P1,2,C65912,036=P1,3,C65910,037=P1,4,C65907,038=P3,1,C65911,039=R0,21,C65966,040=U0,21,C65964,041=R0,22,C65602,042=U0,22,C65969,043=R0,4,C65607,044=R0,6,C66278,045=R0,7,C66279,0

Thought button 2 would turn on and 3 off..so i set it up as you have yours and voila! All I have to do now is remember not to fiddle with them during flight.... :( Rob GrantCompass Airlines - Stretch Your Wings Australia
