October 14, 201015 yr I have recently re-Installed the freeware PPP Portugal scenery and Have found that the AFCADS for the scenery do not show. Bui;dings are displayed and AI traffic are parked but no tarmac, Taxiways or Runways. The scenery is in FS9 and I use Windows 7. All other add-on freeware scenery is fine.Pleas has anyone got any ideasNeil
October 14, 201015 yr Assuming you are talking about ppp30.zip (it's always helpful to give full filename and DL locations when asking for help), the readme has you load the LC after the scenery, giving it higher priority. This is unusual.Try reversing their positions in the scenery library.regards,Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.

Might just be worth checking that this file is indeed in your addon scenery folder; also that try opening one of the airports using AFCAD2 or similar. That'll also show duplicate AFCADs which you could try deleting.May well be completely irrelevant but worth a go.
October 14, 201015 yr I wouldn't do any editing of that file with Afcad. You might end up losing all airports except one, or creating duplicate Afcads. There is nothing wrong with having all of the airports in one file, that's how Microsoft did it.I would look for Afcads in other addons for these airports.Do you have this problem at all 5 airports or just one/some?Do you have addon mesh? It shouldn't matter, just asking. These airports are all at the default elevation, so this is a puzzler.regards,Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.

I was just suggesting using an AFCAD editor to see if they were genuinely present & check for duplicates - not to edit them. And I agree there's nothing wrong with putting multiple AFCADs in one file. It's just a little odd for freeware addons in my experience.

I was thinking this may be the problem. I will let you know how it goes, at worst it will be the same if ok, it will be a good learning point.Fingers crossedNeil

I have done this with all add on scenery which all works fine, I am only experiencing the problem with the Iberia and Portugal region. I have even now replaced the Eurw files from the fresh installation on my laptop but this hasn't cured the problem.RegardsNeil

I went to the scenery config file in my main folder and deleted all add-on scenery then re-installed the ppp add-on and all is well. All I need to do is add the other files and check to see if any conflict occurs, if it does I will post again but hopefully all will be well.Incidentally post that gave me the idea had the final fix posted by "OPA" so thanks very much.Kindest RegardsNeil
