I found this previously but a search of the Database and this forum did not result in a "hit".I have these PMDG products...what is the required install order? Hi Victor, Although I do not have the 737, and use only FSX, I have read many say there isn't any order. The best thing to do in any situation like this is to install oldest first. Reasoning behind it is for instance with FS addons like these they come packed with the latest version of C++ runtimes that were available at the time of release, so making sure it doesn't overwrite files in the old is what I consider with other apps (not so much PMDG aircraft since I make it a habit to always install the latest C++ after anyway).Hope this helps

Hello Victor,You are right, for FS9 there is an install order in case of the B-737 and B-747.The B-737 (series) must be installed before the B-747 as shown in your list.Follow the order like in your list and you'll not have any issues.

Thank you Peter. I was digging around in some old papers and found an old email from PMDG with the correct order...it is as you said.

If you bought your products recently there is no required install order.The only problem arises with old versions of the 737 installer from before we switched to Install Shield (IS is the blue colored installer app, the older one was gray with a small window). If you have the old installer, then you need to either install the 737 stuff first or else back up the 744 or MD-11 version of PMDGOptions.dll in the Modules folder, install the 737, and then copy the backed up file over top of the one the 737 installer places there. You may also need to reinstall the latest FSUIPC.
