I am interested to see if there is any kind of concensus with the slider settings that we all use in FSX. I know the system specs have ALOT to do with it but I am more interested in the settings used regardless of the system in use. Thanks for your input.Jim

This poll is actually incomplete, and therefore doesn't tell the whole story. Other settings polled, should be Water level, Texture and Mesh resolution, Weather settings (Especially Cloud visibility. Most important, that will affect frame rates is the amount of AI traffic.

Yes I agree with you but we already know that AI is propably the number 1 performance killer. The Texture/Mesh are not really that much if any of a performance hit. I was more interested in seeing the Scenery/Autogen settings. What I find interesting is the amount of people running High Car traffic. I did vote in the poll as well and after seeing others and being able to see a trend in one area to another I was able to pick up a few frames by changing my car traffic to 5% and my airport vehicles to minimum. If I turn OFF airport vehicles I get another boost but then all my UT2 AI try to depart all at the same time. With airport vehicles on at least minimum it spreads that out some. Never the less it has been interesting to see the results.Jim
