October 21, 201015 yr Right it never sets itself to user defined, I have to set it manuallyTo resolve that....you can create and save a new default start up situation....jump into a default aricraft, clear all weather, set weather to user defined, save the situation as your default start up flight in FSX. After FSX fires up, you can select the default start up flight which you know is set to user defined weather...or set FSX to not show the opening screen and it will start up everytime with the default flight loaded and ready to go.Hope this helps.Rob. October 21, 201015 yr Hi All,No, it should not depend on your default flight settings. Once FSX and ASE establish communication, the switch should be made if it needs to be made.Try this: Start ASE and FSX, set a weather theme in FSX--doesn't matter which one, and then refresh ASE. Then see if User Defined gets chosen.
October 22, 201015 yr Jim, this is not working here...I have the feeling that since one of the last updates something isn't working right....I have noticed it, that when I have changed an airport or airplane (or both - not ended FSX) then Weather isn't updating any more.I have to restart ASE and then weather is changing to right values.Settings and system same like 413X3except FSX is installed on F:; but that wasn't a problem in the pastDWC onautomatic downloadsprevent cloud redrawsfog layer generationdisable haze layerenable Visibility graduation etcNo I have tried your test:started ASEstarted FSXstarted a flight --> correct weather from ASEloaded "fair weather"refresh ASE --> no reaction anymore; weather theme is still "fair weather"hope we can sort this out...Günter Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
October 22, 201015 yr Hi All,Any situations should be reported to support(AT)hifisim.com with as much detail as you can provide. Then these get forwarded to the programming team.
