I need a super simple explanation of AI traffic

Featured Replies

I would like to get some AI Traffic up and running for FS9. I would apreciate a super simple explanation of AI traffic, how to get it going, where to get the planes, scheduals and what to do once you get them. Thanks,Jim [email protected]

http://www.jetdoc.com for tutorials. For AI Planes visit this website (AVSIM) and the following:http://www.projectai.comhttp://members.tripod.co.jp/~FSpainterhttp://www.ai-aardvark.comhttp://www.cam.hi-ho.ne.jp/urakawa-t/There is also a product called Ultimate Traffic, and another product called MyTraffic which are commercial programs but will allow you to setup AI. I prefer to do it manually, so I would recommend checking those first sites mentioned.Good luck in your quest

Project AI's stuff works great, I used them in FS2K2 and two nights ago downloaded and installed every PAI Certified Airline and Cargo package. The new installer works great, and I'm getting tons of AI which will only increase when the new COF version of AFCad comes out soon...Highly recommended!

Hey Frank! Anytime!Wish Item....Military flights! C-17's doing the Lift and Aid stuff, Mil Fighters working Coastal Sorties, B1's and B2's running in the Western Mountain practicing nap of the earth runs, High Flying Spy planes, Naval Sorties, and lots of each type running Training Flights. Heck, why not Airshows....the dates are all published! :DSomeday!

I too am using Project AI in FS9 and find that I get less AI commercial traffic compared to the default, its to my benefit because theres enough AI traffic to populate the airports but not so much that theres huge delays and many go arounds. Added benefits are the fact that my CPU doesnt get bogged down providing better frames and all the airplanes service the correct airports. Add their packages with the rework of the default GA AI flight plans that reroute those GA planes going into and out of international airports and you got a great AI traffic file. NP

I checked Ultimate traffic, but my PC is only a 256RAM and would not support the program. I am trying to look for another alternatives and found real traffic 2002, which could work, but is too expensive for the limitations it has (comparing it to Ultimate traffic).Since I have downloaded over 100 planes and repaints, exists any program that makes possible to have those planes and repaints appear as traffic instead of the default ones? I can't believe no one has developed it yet.Leo

I used to make airshows with FSTraffic, in FS98. Had aircraft making low passes, and airliners doing low and slow fly-bys. Good fun, but took hours.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/36121.jpgStill waiting for my new PC:Athlon 3000512Mb PC3200 DDR RAM (400MHz)256MB nVIDIA GeForce FX 5600seUntil then, FS9 sits on my shelf :-(
