Using fsx/accel does the default GNS-500 provide vertical

Featured Replies

I am using the default GPS in fsx to shoot RNAV approaches at some fo the smaller airports. I can't seem to find any instructions anyplace. I would like to know if there is any vertical guidance provided in an RNAV approach. Seems like there should be. If so, how do I select it on the GPS? AP? GPS/NAV selector switch is where in an RNAV approach? How about ALTitude hold on the AP? Thanks.Ray

You might consider getting a RealityXP GNS530.It will add proper LPV approaches to FSX.http://www.reality-x...s530/index.htmlBTW, I think the answer is just... E. Didn't wait long enough :(
You are probably correct. Thanks. I know about the RealityXP addons and practically everyone who has them can't do with them anyone. I just have to quit buying more planes and redirect the funds.

Thanks Vic. I was hoping that I was just missing something. I guess I'm missing all of it.
