October 20, 201015 yr HiJust installed PMDG 737NG for FS2004When I select any type from the aircraft menu FS displays the "loading senery" message then bombs out to a microsoft error report message.FS is working fine otherwiseVersion is FS9.1At no point did I get asked to register or activate the software.....is this normal?I have installed PMDG 747 for FS2004 and FSX without any issues.Any help would be appreciated.CheersMike
October 20, 201015 yr Hi Mike,I think that if you installed the 747 first and then installed the737NG then that could be the source of your problem. The PMDG Wiki used to have a section regarding the correct order for the installation of the products. If you own them all,You start with 600/700 then 800/900 move on to the 747 and then the MD11.This will avoid any conflicts/issues when operating these aircraft under FS9.Uninstall the 747 and the NG and install in the correct order.RegardsNorman Bowman Norman Bowman
October 20, 201015 yr Hi NormanThanks for the quick reply.Just checked my install.......I've recently revamped my PC and created a dual boot so I have a work and play area and I I currently haveFS9.1 loaded with PMDG 737NG andFSX loaded with PMDG 747X and Level D 767I never got around to re-installing the PMDG 747 back on FS9.1If I load any aircraft in FS9.1 and look at the drop down menu for PMDG.......non of the menu items respond such as about PMDG, style, failures etc?I guess this may be a symptom of the bad install?I also note the menu item for 'extend licence'.....whats this? Sorry but PMDG off very little install instructions in the downloaded txt file regarding registration.CheersMike Hi Mike,I think that if you installed the 747 first and then installed the737NG then that could be the source of your problem. The PMDG Wiki used to have a section regarding the correct order for the installation of the products. If you own them all,You start with 600/700 then 800/900 move on to the 747 and then the MD11.This will avoid any conflicts/issues when operating these aircraft under FS9.Uninstall the 747 and the NG and install in the correct order.RegardsNorman Bowman
October 20, 201015 yr Make sure you have a clean uninstall and delete all pmdg folders in FS9.Reinstall 737NG, it should ask for information to validate the installation. If not, open a trouble ticket at the pmdg support portal on their site.Full names in this forum please. Dan Downs KCRP
