Try switching from Windows to Full Screen view and back. You can also try Shift+Ctrl+R to refresh the plane is you have that setup in FSX settings menu.

One of the pleasures of this Forum is the helpfulness of knowledgabe and experienced Members. So early this morning when I came to check whether I'd had any replies it was great to see that two Members were on my side.I tried your suggestion and Bingo! The screen is back to normal.Do you know if there's anything I should do to stop this happening again?Regards....................Cliff Harris

Just a brief comment regarding your statement that "I came to check whether I'd had any replies"............Many posters seem unware that they can setup up their account to receive automatic e-mail notifications if and when someone responds to a post or thread they are watching.IMHO this makes it far easier to keep track of things I am interested in so I do not have to remeber to "go back" and check. Most sites offer this option.

Im glad that worked for you. It may just be a one time thing, but looking at your specs, more memory and OC'g your proc would help. If you cant do that, ensure that you dont have anything else running in the background, especially virus checkers, etc.

I have exactly the same problem on Vista 64bit with newest NVidia drivers. Take a look at systray - you have an icon over there which is overlapping FSX window. There are many programs, tooltips (but not all) that causes this problem. Just try to avoid overlapping FSX window with any other program window, or tooltip, icon, or anything else.
