Posky CRJ flight dynamics and FS2004

Recommended Posts

Hello Gang! The Posky CRJ does is not very well behaved in FS2004. While on the ground, the plane feels like a boat - ground handling is pretty bad. In the air, it wants to fly like an F-15 Eagle. I suspect that some air file and .cfg adjustments would have to be made to adapt it to FS2004. Does anyone know if there are any updates available out there for this magnificent aircraft? Thanks in advance!Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

I redid the FM for the CRJ. It's now one of my favorite aircraft.

DM; check you email. I cannot post revisions to Posky FMs for obvious reasons and the reasons stated in the email. Trim it up for takeoff and use flaps 1. Let me know what you think?

Just thought I'd let everyone know that Bigshot's updates are great. I made some updates of my own to the VC gauges elliminating the old 2002 gauge display problem. CRJ is back now if FS2k4. My only hope is that Posky updates the VC in order to make it more interactive (functioning autopilot, etc.). Thanks Bigshot for sharing your FDE update with us....

Hey all, Just to let you know. The CRJ actually does not climb that well. So, yes it is way overpowered. It is actually a lengthened fuselage, based on the Challenger series, with only a slight increase in rated thrust. Without the Fs9 refinements, it is also a little twitchy in roll and pitch.. But, pitch has always been a problem without tweaks by Rob Young and Steve Small.Ciao, Christopher
